Throughout Saturday afternoon enjoy the fantastic acts that will be performing…

We will be welcoming the London Street Band to Kimpton, with stints in both the procession and arena, don’t miss out on hearing them live! The unique ensemble will entertain the crowds with current and classic pop hits as well as New Orleans Mardi Gras music.

We are excited to announce that characters from Star Wars will be joining us at the May Festival. Watch out for them in the procession and around the Recreation Ground as they meet and greet the crowds.
The UK Garrison is a renowned not-for-profit UK costuming organisation with a passion for building movie accurate costumes, raising money for charity and putting smiles on faces.

Children’s Trail

Professor Whizz Bang has lost his magical fireworks in the woods – can you help him find them? Take a stroll through the bluebell woods and count how many you spot. On your way, look out for the golden firework and write down the secret code word.

Hand in completed sheets (available to print PDF Children trail sheet) on The Green on Monday 2nd May before 4.30pm to be entered into a draw to win a prize! The trail will be available throughout the May Festival weekend so choose a time that best suits you!

Animal Corner

Make sure to visit the animal corner on the Recreation ground on Saturday afternoon, a hands on, free experience for the young and young at heart!

Mini Tennis

Are you aged 4-14 and want to test out some tennis skills? Head along to the tennis club on Sunday, 10am – 12pm! Just £1 per child.

5-a-side Football

Get some friends together to form a team of 5 (plus 1 sub), at least one of which must be a resident of the Parish of Kimpton. The Sunday tournament is in four school year groups:

1-3, 4-6, 7-8 and 9-11

Junior Fun Run

Dig out your trainers…can you complete the 4km Junior Fun Run?

Register on the day, 9.30am at the Recreation Ground.

11am start on the Green, medals for all junior finishers!

Games on the Green

While the grown ups soak up the last moments of the festival, enjoy some fun games and bubbles on the Green! A small charge of 50p per turn on the dice game (cash only so bring your pocket money!) to join in the fun and chances to win prizes! Other donations very welcome.

All proceeds raised will go to the Willow Foundation.
